I'm so freakin' excited. For a long time I've wanted to get into the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, it's a college specifically designed for games, films and VFX. I went to the Sydney open day today to just check the place out and hand in my application form and then, can you believe.....

They asked me if I wanted an interview now and I said hey what the hell not? And they interviewed me and checked out my online portfolio [Thank you to Justin *Neolight for giving me the great advice of making an online portfolio] and well, they loved me!!

They said 'YES YES YES' we think you're definitely worthy of a position here

And one of the guys who interviewed me used to work for PIXAR Animation Studios!!! AND HE HAS MET STEVE JOBS I'm so excited, I was in tears and wanted to hug everyone!

Whilst doing the 2 year Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development course, there are things like the Incubator program where you go to the Atari building to start your own Indie Games business. There's guaranteed jobs within a HUGE range of national and international game studios, and Sony Federation scholarships to win!

So after I complete my HSC this year I'll officially be enrolled as a Game Art & Design Student. My life has just started!
